Mini-bio: born a haemophiliac, sheltered for most of his life, Nate's the kind of guy that's always wanted to be a hero without ever dreaming he could become one. A papercut could spell disastrous results for him. Instead, due to a love for the Indiana Jones movies and to his family - his grandfather was the renowned Captain Steel, hero of WWII, that his father told him tales of - Nate turned to history. Left home at 16 to study at Oxford, and became a doctor in historical reconstruction and deduction. Likes to call himself a 'time detective', and ~deduced the identities of both the Green Arrow and all the Legends, which led him to join them. After an accident in 1942, Ray Palmer injected with him with a modified version of a super serum, curing Nate's haemophilia, and more importantly, giving him the ability to turn his skin into steel, rendering him extremely durable, and turning him into a full time member of the Legends.
